This place has a very different approach from what I'm accustomed to, but so far it's working for us. I used to pay an arm and a leg for vet care for my dog in Lincoln Park. Her vet was outstanding and truly knew her well. A number of people recommended this place, which is actually in Glen Ellyn, so we gave it a try. I love Wheaton Animal Hospital! I take my 2 dogs, a Shih Tzu and a Yorkie. They treat them how I do - like family. Alll of the doctors are very warm, but Dr. Hanson is my favorite. She really takes time to answer my questions and get to know my dogs. The office prices are a little high compared to others, but it's worth it to know that they care as much as I do.

I'm very impressed! I love that you can just walk right in with your pet anytime and see a doctor. They are all very sweet and caring. I board my dog there often and most seem to know him and recognize him. They even started asking people if you want a picture of your pet texted to you each day while you're gone. The only thing that keeps me from making this 5 stars if that they are closed on Sunday and that is usually when I would want to pick my dog up from boarding. We always have to wait until Monday.

Due to the organization that we adopted our puppy from, we had a prepaid Vet visit at Wheaton Animal Hospital. We were novices at taking care of our new puppy and found the staff extremely helpful and patient. They answered all of our questions and the doctor was excellent. I highly recommend them!

I love Wheaton Animal Hospital. They have been nothing but wonderful to our three fur-kids. They listen to my concerns and provide not only traditional remedies but they have a wonderful holistic approach. I didn't get my head chewed off for wanting to feed raw or doing titer tests instead of vaccinating annually. I love their first come first serve approach, and unless I come in mid-day Saturday the wait is usually short. And to top it off, Wheaton works in many ways with rescues, which in my book is a great thing.

I have been bringing my dogs there for years. The staff are so kind and caring and treat my pets like they are their own. The doctors have always been helpful and kind in their treatment of our pets. I recommend this place to everyone.

I love this place, and have been going there since I adopted my first kitten. I give them only four stars since it seems like their prices are a little on the high side, and the usual wait. Dr. Hanson is my favorite. When we bring our cat Snarf in, we can hear her in the back calling Thundercats style "Snaaarrrf! Snaaarrrf!" Since then we returned, asking specifically for her. After a while, we ended up with a different vet. Realizing she was just as good, we feel comfortable bringing our cats to any of the vets at WAH know... read more

This animal hospital is amazing! Not needing an appt is so helpful, and I've never had to wait long. The whole staff was so helpful and really care about the animals they serve. I would definitely recommend any vet in this office!

This one is for Dr. Lancaster. He is the best. I put my dog down and drove to Wheaton from downtown because of him. He tells the truth and he cares. My last dog shoulld have been like this but the vets I was going to then didn't care enough like him. I stayed with my dog and isnt something I thought I would do but I am glad I did and it is because of Dr. Lancaster.
