The rehab itself is good and the staff is good. The food is not good. The caseworker is very good with the family. They let me know overall how my mom is doing.
They did virtually everything well, I was extremely impressed. The place is beautiful, the therapy was excellent, and the food was good. Every Tuesday and Thursday they had omelet day where you could create your own omelets. They have a very creative director.
I've been very impressed with the staff: the social workers, administration, and the head nurse. They keep us well informed. They're great!
They haven't been washing my loved one's clothes and aren't trying to get her out of bed. She hasn't been in the dining room yet. She has not complained about the meals.
My experience was okay. I had a real problem with dietary. There was also some miscommunication, especially in the first few days. Once they realized why I was actually there it was fine. This whole situation made me aggravated. The communication was poor at first. Once everything was cleared up and they realized I could be more independent it was better.
The staff is very attentive. They answer questions and come quickly when you need help. They are very good. Communication was great.
I know everybody is working on a light schedule with the employees. They're pretty intense with the therapy. I think it's clean. When you need the information, they get back to you.
The workers are friendly and come around to see how my sister is doing. I like that. From what I can see she's doing good with the therapy services and making improvements. The meals are okay, the portions are really big. I was impressed with the way they set up the transportation for going to her doctors, they took care of all of it!
They are wonderful, very caring, and very accommodating there at Willow Springs. My brother loves the physical therapy. It is a very pleasant experience, and the facility is very clean. They are also good about calling me to have regular meetings with my brother's care team to keep me updated on his progress.
