They could have gotten to know my loved one better than they did, and have a plan in the first 24 hours. I don't feel that happened. Some nurses were great, and some were not. I was never able to see the doctor. The food was not tasty. There wasn't really fresh fruit until we asked. No salads or anything.
I was there for meeting earlier today with all of the departments including the therapy team and so far everything is going well. My loved one loves their meals.
It is 200 times better than an experience we had at another facility. The lady that helped us, in the beginning, was so helpful. They could be a little more communicative and transparent. I have to call to get information.
Overall, our experience was excellent!
Rehab therapy is great. The care and service are excellent! Everybody has been friendly! The place is very clean and he is clean. The meals are okay as pureed food. Dining is great and it is like being at home. They call me every day if I am not there and gave me an update on my dad.
It seems very clean. My loved one hates their food. She said it all tastes the same, they don't ask her what she wants and they just bring her whatever they have. They're terrible at communicating and it's often difficult to get through to anyone on the phone
Overall, we had an excellent experience! We only had one issue where her clothes haven't been returned after two weeks.
Willow Springs has made this a very pleasant experience. I would absolutely recommend them. I think my wife would like to mention that the staff has been especially helpful. Especially, the head nurse! Breakfast is the best of their meals.
