They charged me $600 for a consult/exam. I’ve been to many Urgent Care clinics around the country, including NYC, LA and Chicago. This service typically costs around $90-$125. Do not go here. They price gouge and overcharge terribly! I wish I had gone to the hospital, or to Wichita.

First trip was okay. I have the flu. Went back to get a Dr release and was told I had to be seen again. Why? Because the girl in front says the contacted providers there CAN'T look at each others files.. MY FILE, mind you. All I wanted was a release to go back to work but this turned into an ordeal! Charged ANOTHER copay just to get A NOTE to return to work! Very dismissive and nonchalant. Money hungry to charge my insurance TWICE and me a copay TWICE! They didn’t help me or my son and we ended up even sicker because of it. They have a particular PA or NPR that will not help you. I’ve filed a complaint with the Oklahoma Medical Board for incompetence on this provider. Stay away from this place . Xpress Wellness is usually the best urgent care to go to. Today on the other hand the front desk receptionist was rude, short and even rolled her eyes when I asked for my Drivers license back. Very unprofessional! Being a nurse I know we can have bad days but when you are a front desk receptionist, you leave it at the door and put a smile on. Will not be going back to Xpress on Harrison in Shawnee.
