Garbage. Wasted 2-3 hrs fishing this thing around in ... Garbage. Wasted 2-3 hrs fishing this thing around in our driveway pond. It has to be completely submerged and held under due to the lid not sealing closed. It doesnt thread/screw closed. Instead it has a twist lock so it only gets as tight as the studs will allow it. The lid flops around and sucks air if its above water. The pump then cannot keep prime and it all fails. Very frustrating. If the lid sealed closed, it may work better. Horrible product that doesn't work properly Horrible product that doesn't work properly. It sucks in air constantly but would be great if there was a weight in the bottom of it.

My pool service man too it our of the line ... My pool service man too it our of the line because it stopped working it never sealed tightly and kept putting air in the system

Better options out there Previous one worked better, lasted more than 2 years. This one gets air trapped inside. Had to remove it before it messed up my pump.

Included Vac Hose adapter is TOO LARGE diameter to allow a standard pool vac hose to connect as intended!!! Supposed to be able to work attached to standard pool vac hose (with included adapter)... But the adapter included to SUPPOSEDLY allow standard vac hose to device is the SAME EXACT both INNER AND OUTER diameter as the connection collar of the standard manual pool vacuum hose connecting collar... It is 100% IMPOSSIBLE to get a standard manual pool vac hose to connect onto the included adapter that is supposedly to allow... read more

Lots of leaves? this falls short... This week catcher is poorly designed. I have a lot of leaves in my pool. I’m very happy with a TR 2-D vacuum, but the leaf catcher leaves much to be desired. It doesn’t have a bag so dirt and small particles slip through. The cyclone is a good idea, but it takes up too much room in the canister. I’m out every two hours dumping the canister in the fall. Also, you can’t pull it off during operation. The system has to be turned off before you can empty the canister.
