more diffcult than it needs to be I purchase this item and another a Hayward w560 poolvac nav standard leaf canister and I use the Hayward more the connection points don't fit a regular off the shelf hose without extra parts plus I can put a skimmer sock in the Hayward to catch small debrie

Garbage. Wasted 2-3 hrs fishing this thing around in ... Garbage. Wasted 2-3 hrs fishing this thing around in our driveway pond. It has to be completely submerged and held under due to the lid not sealing closed. It doesnt thread/screw closed. Instead it has a twist lock so it only gets as tight as the studs will allow it. The lid flops around and sucks air if its above water. The pump then cannot keep prime and it all fails. Very frustrating. If the lid sealed closed, it may work better. My pool service man too it our of the line ... My pool service man too it our of the line because it stopped working it never sealed tightly and kept putting air in the system
Better options out there Previous one worked better, lasted more than 2 years. This one gets air trapped inside. Had to remove it before it messed up my pump.
