Great idea, horrible in real life. Flips over constantly while your cleaner is working. Therefore sucking air in and losing suction in pump. It works but I really hate this thing. They won't take it back unless it's broken under warranty.
Returned for two reasons I ended up returning this canister for two reasons: 1- The lid did not close tight and allowed air to enter whenever the canister was slight off a vertical position in the pool. 2- The canister would often move off of the vertical position.
Protect your pump and filter Works very well, keeps leaves and other debris out of your pool pump and filter!
A The brushes clear the pool better the Pentair pool cleaner.
Don’t buy this product After one week of use the gasket lost its seal and my pump has been sucking air for a week
ITS GARBAGE! DON'T BUY IT! If you want to be replacing it every 30 days, this is your vacuum. This one worked ok, but not great for about 40 days, then it stopped. No matter how much suction, the fan/propeller wouldn't spin. Because it was past 30 days, seller wouldn't replace it or refund the money.
Works great but. Great product and has worked for years. The only drawback was I couldn’t find another basket after mine cracked. I plastic jb welded it and continues to work. Keep in mind that if your basket breaks at any point in time you may have to buy a hole replacement.
Not as good as Zodiac Barracuda leaf catcher It look cool, with the "cyclonic" spinning water. But it does not work as well as the Barracuda model, which I've had for almost 20 years (1st one worn out, bought 2nd Barracuda, then it worn out). Decided to try this model, and I am regretting it. It look bigger, but it has to be empty out more often. Once the catcher get half full, it stops working. With the Barracuda, I can let it get full. So in term of capacity, I think the Barracuda wins.
