WAY better than KK Outdoor 28,000 gal pool in FL. Had the Kreepy Krawly for the past 4 years and was never happy/satisfied with it as it continually got stuck on shallow end steps. Good Pool Suction Vacuum I once had the G4 version of this which lasted 3 years in Florida. This little sucker works great :) I have a 20 x40 painted concrete rectangular pool with 12 foot deep bowl shape bottom on deep end. Two skimmers and three returns. We have a lot of trees in the yard and our dogs love to play in the pool so there is always debris in the pool. The pool is a bear to vacuum by hand. Simplifying my summer!!! This is my second season with an Inground pool. Last year was miserable. I was spending hours every other day out there with a normal pool vacuum attachment head and it was never really getting clean. I decided investing in an automatic pool cleaner was a must! We got it quickly which was fantastic but it has not worked correctly since day 1 UPDATE: Bill from Zodiak called my husband and the two of them did a bunch of troubleshooting to find out why our vac wasn't working properly. As it turned out, some items had gotten stuck beside, not in, the diaphragm. Now "robocop" is working. If it hadn't been for the excellent customer service rep, Bull, we would have been investing in a new vac. Thank you Bill. After a full 12 months of use...a review. I bought this in May, 2017 and have used it consistently since with no big problems. I live in south Texas and we don’t close our pools here. We don’t swim for 3-4 months since the water gets too cold, well, I don’t anyway since I’m too cheap to buy a heater. But my pool stays uncovered and still needs to be cleaned and chemically treated even in winter. My pool is fiberglass and sort of a free form shape, about 17,000 gallons. Barracuda-- does the same job as a $1K electronic robot vacuum for $250. Pool cleaning devices--including this one--promise something that they cannot deliver. And with each 'innovation' the promises become more expensive and the disappointment well, more disappointing.The only way that you will have a consistently clean pool is to clean it yourself (or hire someone) using a pool vacuum attached to a hose. Works great for sand! We just had an inground pool put in so have done TONS of research and comparison shopping for a suction side cleaner.
