The same thing happend to my brother. complete a waste of money. buy something of better quality if you don't want to waste money

1.0 out of 5 stars Worst Pool Vacuum Ever I have had pools most of my life and this is hands down the worst pool vacuum I have ever had. I tried to use the vacuum 3 different times before returning it. The first time it took a few minutes to start up, did a few completely random zig zags in the shallow end of my pool and then just stopped after a few minutes. 1.0 out of 5 stars Hose literally crumbles This is a very substandard product. Poorly made. The hose pipes are breaking apart after a year of use, one after the other. They are very poor quality. The vacuum unit moves well , but gets stuck near steps in the pool and stays there. I DO NOT recommend this to anyone.
2.0 out of 5 stars Never seen pool product goes bad with in a year I am not sure why the pool product was made with poor quality. bought last year and Pool vacuum tubes are cutting into pieces near the connectors. Hope this would help other customers when buying this product.
2.0 out of 5 stars Quality and functionality as advertised Hoses started falling apart before even one year of use. (We store unit indoors when not actually in the pool.) Cleaner constantly doing wheelies (not cleaning pool floor) we adjusted hose float, and suction valve, and counted wheel rotation per instructions. Cleaner seems to spend an abnormal amount of time trying to climb the walls, which means it takes a long time to actually clean the pool floor where we need it. Pool size 15’x30’ in-ground. 1.0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY - HOSES ARE DEFECTIVE! In only 21 months the hoses have begun to disintegrate. When we weren't looking and one unraveled at night and our pump was sucking air which could have damaged it. When I contacted Zodiac to address it, they said the hoses are wear and tear and they will not be replaced. They further, said they can be affected by temperature changes and sunlight in the pool and it's best to remove the cleaner after use. WHAT???
