Junk piece of junk I bought this sweeper for my in ground pool and at first I thought it was a great thing by reading the reviews of this now that I’m not impressed at all with how twice I had to have it fixed and now it’s garbage nothing but garbage I would not recommend this product at all believe me it’s a waste of money don’t waste your money and time
WORST MX6 I purchased the Baracuda MX6 expecting it to last for years, but after only 11 months of normal use, every single hose broke or cracked. The material is clearly low quality and not made to withstand regular pool use. To make things worse, I have tried multiple times to contact Baracuda for a warranty claim with no response. Their customer service is non-existent. For the price, I expected much better. Save your money and avoid this product unless you want a short-term solution and no support when things go wrong.
Even the smallest debris will bring this to a halt. I've been suffering with this pool vacuum for nearly 3 years now. I think I keep it in service to justify the initial expense. Honestly, I won't be disappointed when if finally dies. The problem with this unit is that even the smallest leaf, twig, or other debris will bring it to a grinding halt. Good til it isn't. Zero customer service Worked good for 18 months then started getting stuck in the corner of the pool and would not move. Changed tracks out hoping that would fix it, but to no avail. Customer support is non existant. Wouldn't recommend

Gets stuck repeatedly Loved this for one day. Since then it has gotten stuck every single day, sometimes more than once. Sorry I purchased this. I have owned a pool for 30 years and do most of the work myself. I always used the flapper style, and it served me well. I thought I would spend more and get a better vacuum. So frustrating to look outside and see it stuck trying to climb steps and falling over onto only 2 wheels. Wish I had never purchased this. Should have returned but I cut up and threw away the box.
Arrived not functional Item arrived not functional. Motor and wheels turn but the minte it touches the walls or bottom of pool it stops working and won't move. Returned and still waiting for a refund where others refund your money within minutes of receiving return notification is on the way. Not very good service in products or customer service
Go To A Store I had an MX8 elite from the same company, but she was old and tired. Thought I'd be fine to replace it with this model - a step down, but I was okay with that.Well... immediately I notice it didn't climb my pool walls as advertised. Constant breaks and jams Nothing but problems. Have to take it out and fix it all the time. Gearbox grinds, impeller gets stuck on one palm strand. Even when the thing is working for a week we had to attach a pool noodle to the heavy tube to keep the thing from tipping over and getting stuck. I don't understand how our 20 year old Hayward worked better than this.
