I calibrated the suction per the instructions and put it in the pool. It ran for a few minutes and then stopped. I pulled it up and spun the impeller for a bit. It finally started working again. 1.0 out of 5 stars defective unit like to return the item, broke a few days after the window to return closed. expensive unit and i am quite upset that i cant return it or at least replace it. the unit worked nicely for a few week than just stopped.

The Good: The suction power is really good for the unit and is very easy to set up. It will climb walls with no problems. Plus it doesnt get stuck in the annoying, hard to get spots. 1.0 out of 5 stars Crawls slowly for a few minutes then stops I bought a Hayward to replace my 3 year old zodiac MX6, which was no longer functional. When the Zodiac was new it was powerful enough to climb the walls. The Haywood's performance was not even close. So I returned it and bought this new Zodiac MX6. I have great suction on a newly installed pump, but this new Zodiac hardly moves. It's like it's wheels and cogs are all stiff. It crawls slowly for 15 - 30 minutes at most, then comes to a stop. I returned it.
1.0 out of 5 stars Hoses don't last!!! Hoses don't even last one year! Bought this system in February of 2023 by June i lost my first hose. I am in January now and I've lost 4 hoses so far. Would be great if seller would provide free hoses to replace all of them to try to make it to at least 1 year. Hayward system would last at least 2 years on the hoses.
