Even without debris this is a substandard vacuum compared to the Hayward I had prior. Ive adjusted the flow, multiple times and it always seems as though it just loses suction. It’s now Nov 23 and it has quit working. I contacted the seller and their response was “we’re sorry but it’s not our problem, contract the manufacturer “. I would think that a product that costs about $350 there would be some sort of support even after 30 days. The vacuum works when the pool is clean, but it will choke on a small palm fronds and small tree seed pods. The vacuum sucks up the debris and it gets lodged inside preventing the engine assembly from turning. I spend a lot of time with my pool brush and net cleaning the pool so the vacuum can get the smaller debris. The worst part are the hoses. They last for about a year and then they fall apart. We’ve had this now for only seven months, and we have had to adjust the rubber foot on it at least 3 to 4 times a week. I reached out to the seller of the product and they only warranty it for 30 days.
