Not for my above ground pool The ad in the photos reads for above ground pool and in ground. It worked but then something happened when it went on the wall. It ripped our above ground pool liner. It does it’s job but I personally do not recall for above ground. Now we have to pay $400 for the new liner and $450 for installation.
Doesn't climb pool walls I had a Hayward in the past (different pool). It climbed the walls and cleaned the tile line easily. After reading reviews for this Zodiac M6, I decided to purchase it for my new pool. It seems to do a fine job cleaning the bottom of the pool but it does not climb the walls or clean the tile line. Just Bad I had to return this vacuum. We frequently get tiny twigs blown into out pool. And I mean tiny. These would jam up the vacuum causing it to just float in the pool. That seemed to mess up the rest of the filtration system at the same time. I suppose it would work if all you every get in your pool is small specs of dirt.
Disappointing Not happy with its performance, gets tangled easily, tough to untangle, doesn’t climb walls. Maybe I need to spend more time trying to configure it, but it’s not working for me. Try something else.
Jams Too Easily I didn't buy this model directly. It was "given" to me by the company that built my pool, which means that part of their markup paid for this. Anyway, this unit is constantly jamming up and I am forced to pull it out of the water and clear out whatever leaves were too firm/stiff for it to manage and hope it'll clean my pool before I have to clear it out again. I wouldn't pay the discounted price of $350 for this, let alone the msrp of $500. I'm currently researching its replacement.
This thing is absolutely USELESS! No matter what you set your pump to, this thing always spins around twice, then goes right back to the direction is was going to to begin with. Then it invariably goes to the same place it gets stuck on. Or, it climbs the wall and stays there, sucking in air till it decides to spin around twice, then climb the side again in the same spot for some more air. Stay away from this thing.
No support I got the pool vac yesterday, assembled and tried it out today. It went together fairly easily despite the instructions. I put it in use, it did scramble around the pool nicely, but after a few minutes it surfaced while cleaning the side of the pool and gulped enough air to disable the pump until I disconnected it and got the pump primed again. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT Keeps getting stuck on the steps and a wheel came off....all in the first week. I have reached out to the seller and they ghosted me. Would spend my money elsewhere.
