Even without debris this is a substandard vacuum compared to the Hayward I had prior. Ive adjusted the flow, multiple times and it always seems as though it just loses suction. 1.0 out of 5 stars If it malfunctions after 30 days you are on your own. When it was working, it did a great job. At that time (Aug 23) I was very pleased with it. It’s now Nov 23 and it has quit working. I contacted the seller and their response was “we’re sorry but it’s not our problem, contract the manufacturer “. I would think that a product that costs about $350 there would be some sort of support even after 30 days. The vacuum works when the pool is clean, but it will choke on a small palm fronds and small tree seed pods. The vacuum sucks up the debris and it gets lodged inside preventing the engine assembly from turning. I spend a lot of time with my pool brush and net cleaning the pool so the vacuum can get the smaller debris. The worst part are the hoses. They last for about a year and then they fall apart. 1.0 out of 5 stars Hose is JUNK The media could not be loaded. Vacume is good but the hose falls apart at the end of one summer.. Hose comes in sections. Can't buy a normal hose for it cause the ends are different.
1.0 out of 5 stars Started out well This pool cleaner, cleans very well, except for the fact that the rubber on the feet around the wheels starts to stretch out and then it just turns in circles. We’ve had this now for only seven months, and we have had to adjust the rubber foot on it at least 3 to 4 times a week. I reached out to the seller of the product and they only warranty it for 30 days. Indeed, it was set and forget! That yard was surrounded by trees and my pool was always clean. It was a no brained that I bought another one for my new pool. 1.0 out of 5 stars The hoses are a joke! Don’t waste your $ on this vacuum Contacted the manufacturer, Fluidra. Customer service was sarcastic and rude. We’ve had other vacuums in our pool 24-7 for 15 years and this vacuum hose would just unwind one section at a time. Each section is $25-$30 a piece. The vacuum also will get stuck on the stairs in our pool. It is not worth the value. Search elsewhere. Stay away from zodiac!
