Constantly stopping and clogged If you have any type of debris leaves piece of dirt in pool. This will clog. I’m this would be good for a screened in pool or one w no trees on the area. This clogs very easy and not worth the money or headache of having to constantly watch it.
Overpriced Junk that doesnt last my M6 is 1.5 years old and already needs a repair kir. my friend has an M8 and same issue. The hoses last 1 season and rip and be prepared to spend hundreds on replacement hoses every year. Frequent need to replace rubber tracks. spend hundreds in replacement parts. zodiac is not built to last more than one year on any of its parts.
Failed quickly I’ve had a several of these. They’ve all failed quickly. Not satisfied at all, especially given the price.
DIDN'T LAST ONE YEAR! Well, it was great - until it wasn't! I gave this as a gift, and after 10 months of normal, home (not commercial) swimming pool use the wheels will not turn. It's nice that the suction is fine, but if it won't "drive" around it is of no use. I'm hoping for some great customer service, as this was a big expenditure and makes for an expensive failure.
If it worked, it would have been great! I thought this was exactly what I needed. I read reviews and watched posted videos. What I will say is when it worked it was AWESOME! The problem I had was on our steps, it would get stuck sideways just spinning for apparently hours. It sis the same thing multiple times in 2 different attempts. Suction wasn't the issue. No suction. Worst buy ever Constantly stops moving. Doesn’t climbs walls. Terrible but. Better off spending a little bit more for a dolphin or Polaris.
Constantly gets stuck on basic features... useless This thing seems to clean okay when running, but in my rather simple pool design it got stuck 5 times in the first 3ish hours running. This is after I adjusted the flow exactly as described in the manual. As others have pointed out, the issue seems to be whenever one track is getting traction and the other is not...it just sits and oscillates trying to get traction but since there's zero electronics it does this endlessly until a human intervenes. Poor customer service Poor suction even on low medium and high settings. Customer service extremely late response not helpful. And due to the atmospheric river in California but the time I wanted to return it the window was closed.
Hoses will rot in 1 year. Prevalent problem with the twist lock hose. Hoses are very expensive. Once your Zodiac hoses split and they will within 2 years you are stuck. Buy very expensive replacement hoses or buy a new non-Zodiac pool cleaner. This hose situation is a total scam. AVOID BUYING ZODIAC PRODUCTS.
