Missing Part Missed the flow regulator which connects the hose to the actual sweep machine. Waited 3 months for a replacement part directly from Zodiac (delayed twice, which I had to follow up on as commitments were missed). When missing part arrived, it was the wrong part. Just an absolute awful experience. Disappointing company that will not have any more of my business. Beware!!
Constantly clogs The unit worked great for the first couple of months but now I am having to unclog it weekly as any debri in it caused it to jam.
Can't handle even small leaves This thing gets stuck everyday. It can't handle even small leaves, which unfortunately we have. The leaves routinely get stuck in the spinning suction fins, which stops the device from doing anything. You receive no notification of that of course, since it has no smart features and is just mechanical parts. You can try turning your suction up more, and that helps it avoid getting stuck, but then it continuously goes above your water line and pulls a bunch of air into your pump. Stays stuck 2nd one, both stayed stuck on the stairs. They worked for a couple of weeks then they just stay stuck. Don’t waste your money
Constantly stopping and clogged If you have any type of debris leaves piece of dirt in pool. This will clog. I’m this would be good for a screened in pool or one w no trees on the area. This clogs very easy and not worth the money or headache of having to constantly watch it.
Overpriced Junk that doesnt last my M6 is 1.5 years old and already needs a repair kir. my friend has an M8 and same issue. The hoses last 1 season and rip and be prepared to spend hundreds on replacement hoses every year. Frequent need to replace rubber tracks. spend hundreds in replacement parts. zodiac is not built to last more than one year on any of its parts.
Failed quickly I’ve had a several of these. They’ve all failed quickly. Not satisfied at all, especially given the price.
DIDN'T LAST ONE YEAR! Well, it was great - until it wasn't! I gave this as a gift, and after 10 months of normal, home (not commercial) swimming pool use the wheels will not turn. It's nice that the suction is fine, but if it won't "drive" around it is of no use. I'm hoping for some great customer service, as this was a big expenditure and makes for an expensive failure.
If it worked, it would have been great! I thought this was exactly what I needed. I read reviews and watched posted videos. What I will say is when it worked it was AWESOME! The problem I had was on our steps, it would get stuck sideways just spinning for apparently hours. It sis the same thing multiple times in 2 different attempts. Suction wasn't the issue.
