This worked great at first... but over the past 2 years the hoses have become brittle and they rip at the seams, now it does not reach the deep end of my pool. I have an old vacuum too, its is 12 years old, and that hose does not have one rip in it, never brittle, and still intact. I cannot seem to contact Zodiac directly, I hope you will see my review and send me 2 new sections of hose.
not good with leaves. I put in the vacuum in my pool and within minutes it stopped. The leaves get stuck and it just stops. Probably would work well if you didn’t have any leaves or big objects to vacuum. You could see where the vacuum had been because it was picking up the dirt.
Junk Absolutely the worst pool cleaner ever! No suction whatever and our pool is 6 months old.
Not so good ... to remain polite I bought this unit to replace an old worn put Hayward Phoenix complete with disintegrating rubber wheels. Most of you will understand what I am talking about. This unit failed to work right off the bat, it took hours of fiddling with various setting on pool suction side to get to go. That included using the old hose as with the new hose it would not go. Good reviews??? Used this for a bit then had to return cause it just kept stopping and I had to clear it out. I can’t recommend. I have new pebble tec, and brand new variable speed pump and there would be the smallest pebble or dirt that I would have to remove screws to clear out to get it working. I got it cause it had really good reviews, and when it worked it worked good. BUT it would only go a few days without maintenance, and my old Hayward, 20 years old bty, works better without having to fix it. I’ll try the barracuda... read more
Don’t be fooled by “works even in low speeds “ Doesn’t climb walls , doesn’t work on low speed of multi speed pump, doesn’t not handle tree leafs I regret purchasing it .
Terrible Design!! Stay Away! This product is literally engineered to get clogged the moment it runs over debris. Pine needles, leaves, grass, fronds, etc. No matter what it is, this thing will immediately become jammed and stop working. The one job it is specifically designed for, to vacuum debris, it simply cannot do. Sending this back, and buying a robot!
Hoses are JUNK I am a pool tech and own a pool cleaning service. This machine is garbage. It gets plugged very easily and the hoses are crap. Not to mention super expensive to replace. I have 2 customers that their vacs are less then 16 months old and I have had to replace all of their hoses. Mind you replacement hoses are $30 each. Most vacs need 8 hoses. So my customers spent another $240 on hoses in less then 2 years. Very dissatisfied with this product and wouldn't recommend it to anybody. DO NOT BUY THIS VACUUM!!
This is a POS This is a complete POS. Works for 2 minutes and then rolls over and plays dead. Gets stuck on the stairs. Wish I would have listened to the reviews and not my pool guy.
