I haven't had any problems thus far, however I was looking for an email for boardwalk apartments and couldn't find one, so I'll put my input here. At 7am this morning a man wearing sweatpants and a sweatshirt said he was matainece and wanted to check my toilet, I had never seen this particular matience man before and he wasn't in uniform. I currently reside at the Shadows North in apartment 311. I really liked the place upon my initial visit, so we moved in! My check off list when I moved in had nothing blank there was a long list of needed repairs and things that just weren't done to have it rent ready. The most disturbing was the condition of the front door and the rotten supports that had to be changed because the front wall was flexible, which took three weeks for them to come look at at which time I was told they were going to replace my front door. As a current resident management and maintenance have been incompetent since move-in. I am being asked to pay for a pet I do not have and that I did not pay the rent in full. Since move-in I have not received any of the maintenance request work I put in for, anytime I have gone to the office to talk about my issues the office is never open.This has been the worst experience renting, I would certainly not recommend the 1st lake properties to a family/friend.

This place is unbelievable. We got approved signed a lease. Then my husband secured employment with first lake. So he resigned a lease in his name. They fired him Monday for nothing... just one week shy of his 3 months...now the management. Some one named Elena wants us to sign another lease back in my name. But we have to “reapply” . I can hear every step my upstairs neighbors take. I can hear them having a normal conversation from my living room and bathroom. A roach walked into the bathroom from somewhere else in the apartment, no idea where it came from. Also, nothing has been done about the extremely loud car that backs into the parking spot outside of my bedroom window and consistently wakes me up after I have complained to the front office. This is far from a luxury apartment when I have to deal with this.

Just moved in roaches the place is infested, ac problems then when you call the emergency line the person is rude and nasty. I hate it already only two weeks here. That's bad
