Like many small businesses involed in the retail supply chain, my company began struggling with the major consolidations in the industry during the 2000's. Choosing 8x8 was easy for me. I was first introduced to them about 8 years ago by my brother. I subsequently used them for home phone service for a couple of years until I went cellular only. However, when I made the decision last year to start my own home based business, I came back to what I knew. Even having been a prior customer though did not prepare me for what I have now. We went from a very broken phone system in our contact center to VCC about 2 months ago and it was the BEST choice ever. Our customers are happy and we are happy to be able to provide the level of service they deserve. A suggestion: Please work on a way for clients to log in and out. Whenever I leave the office I need to change the way calls are routed. From ringing only on my phone to ringing to all phones when I leave the office 4 to 5 times a day. Every time I come in or leave the office I need to go to: - “Virtual and Toll Free Numbers” - Go to “Edit” for each number - Wait for a confirm on each - Click “OK’ for each – Then I can leave so the phone will route to other offices. I am a small business owner and was getting tired of my current phone companies charges (they rhyme with Comcast) so I decided to try VOIP.
