I have a two doctor office with heavy telephone volume of calls everyday. Switching over to 8X8 cloud telephone service has increased our productivity and patient satisfaction. The options for telephone services far exceeds what could be offered by the old ATT pBx system. Set up was easy partly because the office already had Ethernet connections. 8X8 telephone service agents were easy to contact and very helpful.
We did our homework before we switched to a cloud based phone provider. Everything I research, it always came back to 8x8. We are now 6 months into the new system. No dropped calls, no problems hearing or being heard. Life is good.
8x8 virtual office pro was our choice after talking for a year with a customer service rep. We initially were in the investigation mode for virtual offices and it was new technology for me. I couldn't have been more pleased from start to the day we went live. We've been virtual since December and have had no issues other than our cable internet service being a little spotty now and then. Worst customer service and a unsmart system that will confuse both your customer and the business owner. Voice messages gets full and customers cannot leave anymore voice message until you empty them. VM goes to a weirdly configured system to just one employee. Every employee will have there own set of missed calls from a uniquely confusing phone tree that they create. End game is disaster in communication. Called the customer care to fix the issue, asked him to hold for a second and he hung up on me.

Worst phone system ever. I have seen 6 users will have 6 different call records and voice message record. Same goes for fax. There call records doesn't update. So if a customer has called you at 10 AM and you come in and log into your portal. Nothing shows there. Support is the worst in the industry. No matter what they do this issue stays the same on top they have portals like 8x8 university to educate yourself for how to use their phone system. We have been waiting for weeks to get a response to our issues, with little or no response from the sales organization. When we do get an answer, it is partial at best, and usually transferred to the service department. We have been asking for a supervisor's name and number with no response. This is not the kind of support we would expect from and organization that we have been working with for years.
