A few years ago I got really fed up with the high cost of phone service at my office. When I contacted 8x8 and got there system I got better service IE: no local or long distance charges, my monthly cost was cut in half. Now when I refer someone to 8x8 which I have a few times I also got a check each time they joined 8x8. no more printing junk faxes just erase. message service is also much easier to use. plus all of the others stuff too numerous to mention.
I run an political organization single-handedly, and I'm often not in the office. I just love the fact that the phone calls and faxes we receive come immediately to my email inbox, so I can check them instantly. It means I can give a quick response to our customers, it's super convenient, and it gives me the freedom to work wherever I need to. The phones can ring to a group of lines at one time so everyone in the assigned group can pick up the switchboard without our receptionist having to be at her desk at all times.
Our real estate company needed a new phone system. After several RFP's we selected another company to install and operate our new system. It was a disaster: poor voice quality, bad customer service and just unreliable. Eventually we dropped them and 8x8 came in and redid the entire system.
