The service is terrible. The phone connection is terrible. 90% of the time there is static or no connection at all. there is no customer service. This was the worst decision we ever made to go with 8x8. And 8x8 doesn't care what we think. Not once has anyone from 8x8 reached out to fix the service.

Well over the last 6 to 8 weeks we have experienced some outages and were told this is because of upgrading equipment. When 8x8 upgraded their audio stack we could not even use the most recent VOD over a VPN connection, we had to use an earlier version. After that was resolved we experienced outages approx. 2 more times where we were unable to use VOD at all. It is never a good idea to send a survey when the service went down two weeks in a row. Prior to that the update didn't work over our VPN and your operations team told us the problem was ours. After much research trials and tribulations it was found the root cause was with 8x8 and thus we have not ran the latest update.
I've had a terrible experience with 8x8. Customers could not call in on one of our lines and when tech support couldn't fix it we tried to cancel and are still being charged months later. Worst customer experience I've ever had.
The voice quality of the system is horrible. It is constantly cutting in and out, has a lot of static and is generally unacceptable.

0 stars. The product did not work as advertised. The tech support could not resolve the problem when they finally called about two weeks after placing a service request. They charged $200 when I quit because the service did not work as advertised. Don't bother

We were very unhappy with your lack of technical support and your ability to come up with a solution to our issue caused by not having ethernet wireless phones available. You workaround only allowed us to receive one incoming call per day. Everything else went straight to voicemail. When you have a preschool and parents can not reach us, they tend to panic. DO NOT USE 8x8, I run an online business and my phones have been down for 3 days, I cannot get anyone to give me any reason or resolution. I lose money every day and i dont even get a phone call from anyone. I have used them for years and in days they will put me out of business... BUYER BEWARE!!!!
