What I love the most about my 8X8 phone system is the flexibility. With the VOIP phone one does not have to manually move the lines when changes occur. Additionally, the hosting of the system by 8X8 makes it easy to manage through the user friendly virtual manager interface. Perhaps the biggest of all is the assurance of quality services through the no long term contract policy, which is reasonable that other VOIP providers.
8X8 is the most user-friendly business phone service I know of. Kevin was SO helpful during set-up, and the services provided are just what we need for our new business. My favorite thing is how I immediately receive a text message that someone has left me a voicemail message, and delivers it to me in PDF format. SO cool!! The service was very inconsistent and the tech team seemed ill-equipped to solve the issues. Servers were upgraded without notifying us as a customer and as a result, we lost our ability to dial out on several occasions.8x8 seems to be focused on developing their large corporate client relationships and not those with small business owners. We were a customer for years and gradually watched the service levels drop off. 8x8 offers a wide range of features not available with other VoIP providers, primarily international virtual numbers (or DID's). Service reliability has been very good and pricing is fairly competitive, only suggestions would be for 8x8 to simplify or make its UI easier to use and navigate. Also adding features such as the ability to block specific numbers including "unknown" or "blocked" numbers would be immensely helpful.
Instead of keeping our old system we went with your modern "cloud" VOIP solution and almost overnight we went from a can and string system to a modern sophisticated one. We now have a wonderful modern call center and our desk phones work flawlessly. Should we need to forward our calls away from our desk phones we have the softphone, iPhone App and other options so we never miss a call. Hats off to you guys!
