At Westgate Skin & Cancer, I love not having an on premise PBX and enjoying a VoIP system that always just works. When taking appointments and following up with patients, 8x8 allows us to focus on what's important; patient care. Our most recent success with 8x8 included a situation where our primary physician was able to work remotely for part of the day and use the mobile app to contact patients as if she was in the office.
As a manager at a small business, I don't have a lot of time to spend on things like Phone and VOIP. 8x8 lets me get new employees up and running quickly and has yet to go down. With the 8X8 Voips phones we have been well ahead of managing our budget by cutting costs and being efficiently able to not miss one single call whether we are out on vacation, on the road or away from our desks. The VOD but also our implementation team. Not sure if you are allowed to name names but Truong who is our tech has been very helpful in getting out system setup. We had probably close to 100 phones (mix of VOD as well as Polycom 310's) as well as a few hundred more other DID's we turned into virtual Extensions/numbers and it seemed like a pretty big nightmare to think about. We were moving from an old in-house Cisco Infrastructure that my team inherited (from people who implemented the system that no longer were part of the ... read more
I am a one person office and when my bills from my land line carrier (the really big one) started to get bigger and bigger, I knew I needed another way to make calls and faxes. After looking into various VOIP systems, I selected 8x8 with the help of My Huynh. Her service was excellent. I am vary happy with my system as it does everything I need it to do and have recommended 8x8 to other firms of all sizes. Another bonus is my fax machine is no longer needed. What I love the most about my 8X8 phone system is the flexibility. With the VOIP phone one does not have to manually move the lines when changes occur. Additionally, the hosting of the system by 8X8 makes it easy to manage through the user friendly virtual manager interface. Perhaps the biggest of all is the assurance of quality services through the no long term contract policy, which is reasonable that other VOIP providers.
