At Westgate Skin & Cancer, I love not having an on premise PBX and enjoying a VoIP system that always just works. When taking appointments and following up with patients, 8x8 allows us to focus on what's important; patient care. Our most recent success with 8x8 included a situation where our primary physician was able to work remotely for part of the day and use the mobile app to contact patients as if she was in the office.

Instead of keeping our old system we went with your modern "cloud" VOIP solution and almost overnight we went from a can and string system to a modern sophisticated one. We now have a wonderful modern call center and our desk phones work flawlessly. Our 70+ lines work great. Should we need to forward our calls away from our desk phones we have the softphone, iPhone App and other options so we never miss a call. Great people do deal with too! Hats off to you guys!

Great Mobile App worth the money This app has really allowed my small business to sound and look big amongst my competition. From setting up professional voice mail to marketing messages and unlimited department extensions. Every VOIP app has its hangup but I can say 8x8 is updating and getting better as the technology gets better. It really is worth sticking with these guys they are a micro small business greatest assett. I use the mobil app and it gets better with every update. Also have great webinars.

I've noticed the phone has not been ringing lately when someone tries to call. I'll be sitting right by my phone when I get an email that I missed a call and it never rings. Also, making an outgoing call sometimes takes 5 to 10 tries (dial, rapid-busy signal, hang up, dial again, repeat). I called once to ask about a hardware problem with my 8x8 phone and the rep I talked to said "We don't support residential service anymore or service your hardware but you can buy a new VOIP phone yourself." We have tried a lot of different phone options for our company and until 8x8 we have not been happy with any services. 8x8 is easily the best hosted VOIP phone provider and their tech support is so great. The only down thing I have to say is that they aren't always reachable after hours – we could really benefit with 24 / 7 support! Their iphone/android app hasn’t been of much use to me because I like to keep my personal and work life separate, but all the other features are great, especially call logs and recording calls.

I love our 8 x 8 phone system for the convenience of being able to be out of the office without really being out of touch. We are a small company with 3 people in the office and a few part-time sales people that work from home. Two of us (my wife and I) travel about 1/3 of the year and when my assistant is the only one in the office and she needs to run a few errands, she can just just turn on her mobile 8 x 8 app on her smart phone and she can still answer the office phone if she needs to... Our company joined 8x8 near the end of 2008. We'd been on an in-house system, and it was getting pretty old. At the time, we had around 25 employees, and maintaining and managing the phone system was just another task that our IT department of one had to handle.
