Once you start using Virtual Office you wonder how you ever worked without it. Everything displayed on your computer.and the click of your mouse. The benefit of working from any location with the use of an extra handset telephone and an internet connection.
I had three phones with 8x8 and wanted to move them to another carrier. The other carrier said it would be easy and they would handle it. Well it was not easy and in fact it was the most horrendous experience. I had to speak with ten or more agents in customer service and billing at 8x8 until my numbers were moved and my account was closed, or at least it should have been. When sending 'cold call' emails in the past we could not tell if the recipients ever took the time to read them. Now with tracking we can tell who opened their emails and even if they've opened them multiple times (which makes me think there is hope in making a sales connection there). Also really appreciate being able to schedule an email for delivery. If I get someone's out of office message I'll then schedule the email to arrive the 2nd day they're back in the office (don't want to bombard them their first day back!).
This is absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with in business. We bought their salesman and they never got our phones working after three month. They really didn't care it was really unbelievable. I'm a pretty laid back guy and tolerate a lot. Do yourself a favor do not be a sucker and use this company.
The convenience of our computers and our phones being tied together cannot be under stressed. On a busy busy day when you're sending many e-mails, reviewing spreadsheets, typing instant messages to the team it makes the workflow that much easier to click and call. Not to mention the ability to listen to your voicemails using the app. You can multi-task listening to voice mails while dialing a different contact while e-mailing a third contact. In short: I couldn't get all my work done without it.
We are a small- to mid-size business with two locations who has a TON of trouble with our Internet coverage. Because of where we are located, there aren't many Internet options available, and our Internet can go down 1-2 times a month. 8x8 saves us a TON of trouble and money by allowing us to still run our operations/phones via the 8x8 app. We have it on our phones and still answer calls, park them and pass them on for uninterrupted service. We have multiple employees that work in the field and from home. The advantage of the phones working off their individual computers but ties them into the office atmosphere as though they are sitting right next to their co-workers. Calls are never unanswered, voice mails at fingertips on the internet via email no matter what state they are located. A virtual office.
8x8 allowed our business to increase productivity by saving time a cost effective price.
I love the multiple message notifcations that are sent out once I receive a voicemail on multiple platforms,
