I ported my numbers away from 8x8 but they continued to bill my credit card for over a year and a half. Other companies like Verizon and Vonage close an account and discontinue billing once numbers are ported. This is a disreputable practice.

Worst customer service experience I ever had. I've called for weeks to get resolution on charges my sales rep lied about. Some guy named andrew said he would call back and never did. They also will Draft your card without permission and refuse to take it off the draft. Worst voip company to deal with. If your an insurance agent stay away!

This company is a joke as the tech support people are clueless in that they tell you they have to restart your system because of errors. This leads me to believe many flaws exist in their system. Furthermore the way their system is designed, you will end up calling them endlessly to get issued resolved because default settings exist that you don't know about so your phone system does not operate properly. See if you will really publish this the truth Had this company for over 15 years terrible quality but did not use the two home lines much Doubled rate I cancelled and they had my credit card on file and kept billing me Look at consumer affairs office on the web It is terrible make sure if you get one sent to you the cancellation and terms as they really are crooks and could care less about the customer. billing office opens at 10am NY time. I am having a difficult time deleting payment card on file. I used a card once and now it cant be deleted from my billing profile. Endless loop in phone tree. Rude customer service. When making a call, the recipient is connected before the caller. So the caller waits while the recipient has already said hello and is waiting for the caller to speak. If i could give a 0 star review i would. The service was a nightmare to set up in the beginning. The techs were horrible but i was locked into a contract. After months we finally got bad service and sound quality. I switched to Vonage after 1 year as no one from 8x8 told me the price would double. I saved over 3000 a year and have a lot better sound quality. When i went to cancel they said i had to give 30 days but because it was already billed for Jan they were charging me February as well. oh and $1330 early termination fe... read more

Lackluster support. Not very helpful. The few times I've created a ticket translated to we can't help you, call us instead. How helpful is that? What's the point of sending an email to support if the only response is call instead. Why not lets setup a time to discuss the issue further. Very disappointed so far with support.

8x8 has the absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with. My experiences with them have been horrendous and more importantly, very time consuming. I spend more time trying to get information out of them than the savings are worth, then only to be told that they can't help me. They are receiving one star from me, only because that is the lowest I can give them.

Stay Clear at all costs. No support, over bills - asked for it to be dropped and lowered down to bare bones for remained of the 30 days in OCTOBER 15, 2015, does not cancel, they didn't do it, Billed again November 2, 2015, November 27 asked again to cancel, they didn't do it - and have confirmation email of pending cancel in 30 days of the date of email. December 2, 2015 billed again., cancel day passes on December 27, 2015 by the email, and oh wow guess what.... charged again January 2, 2016 Called in 2x, got cut off 2... read more
