District manager reached out to me and heard my concerns. She explained what possibly happened and offered a solution to remedy the problem. I know she probably has many things to do in her day so I appreciate that she took the time out to contact me and figure this out. Multiple rent increases. I had a rent increase in March of this year of $10 (2025) and now I'm being hit with another one for $30 after moving to a larger unit. That's on top of the rate change. I'm new to self storage so maybe this is a me problem and common practice but it caught me off guard. I signed a month to month contract at an agreed upon rate with them, received my move in special the first 2 months, and now they are raising my rate in the 4th month. Maybe on me for not asking when they would raise my rate. I assumed it would be annual. There should have been some transparancy on their part to let me know they could immiediately raise it.
