We called ahead of time and was able to reserve a storage space. When we got there a sales representative was helpful and showed us the space before payment and insurance options
I have rented units from A-1 storage at the High St location in Oakland for 4 years. I am moving so I closed my account. Just wanted to express my gratitude for the excellent service I received from the staff there. Using this storage for a few months for my daughter's dorm room items during summer break. The facility looks secure and very clean. Staff is nice and helpful.
A big THANKS to Dena (site manager) for an excellent rental experience. I am impressed with Dena's genuine interest and quick response to my questions and concerns, the contactless application and Dena's willingness to explain the lock and keypad to me outside (at my request) at an appropriate physical distance. The personal attention and care that Dena offered us during this process is very much appreciated. I can highly recommend this facility.
I had decided since I was going to have some free time (due to Covid-19)that I would try AGAIN to organize some areas of my home. I figured if I got a storage spot to maybe make it easier for me. I met with Dena at appt time, she was very professional and extremely helpful. From my initial call, everyone has been incredibly nice and full of helpful hints. The facility is clean and well-maintained. I rented a 5x10 and with high ceilings, it works out great. This might be a bit of an unusual review, because I ended up having to rent a space closer to where I live. But A-1 was the nicest place I saw, and the manager, Corey, was the best. He clearly has customer service down -- professional, friendly, informative, and helpful. The trust factor, which is important for me, is definitely high with Corey in management.
