This might be a bit of an unusual review, because I ended up having to rent a space closer to where I live. But A-1 was the nicest place I saw, and the manager, Corey, was the best. He clearly has customer service down -- professional, friendly, informative, and helpful. The trust factor, which is important for me, is definitely high with Corey in management. Great place! Friendly staff and super clean units. Everything is in working order including motion sensor lights and upbeat music :)

Very clean and well run storage space. My unit was on the third floor, but they have large elevators and plenty of carts available so it was very easy to move all the stuff into the storage unit. Storage unit itself was exactly as advertised (I booked it online).

A day after putting this review I received this via certified mail I place this as public record because this happened right after I placed this yelp review and now I have only days to find another unit and move my belongings or apparently all of my possessions become property of A1Self Storage. This is unfair and unjust. And for the record I paid all the rent on time .

Mark was a big help. I was renting another unit in Oakland and it was broken into. So I went searching with the help of the employee from the other storage company I was using and she pointed me to a great safe location.
