I'm not sure how a storage facility can be awesome, but this place is great! I'm selling my condo, so everything needed to go in storage. I had made a reservation at the place across the street, but I thought I'd made it at A-1. The competition across the street did not have very good "curb appeal." In fact, it looked a bit dodgy, so I drove across the street and rented a 10x10 unit on the spot. Anna is a wonderful person, so kind and professional. I intended to shop around but was so floored by her calm and friendly demeanor that I signed up. Moving is so stressful, that a kind touch here and there makes a big difference. Nitty gritties: Easily accessible. Gated entry with code. Wide, clean elevators with a "hold" button that makes it easy to load without the door closing on you. Free carts. Clean corridors. Water view from next to the elevator to help you destress. We needed to store items near Alameda where we were doing Interior Design project and found this location the same day we searched for storage online. All the staff I interacted with and specifically Marisol, Maribel and Anna were very professional, courteous, and helpful every time I requested help and I can't thank them enough for their assistance. One more item that I think is very important, the whole warehouse is clean at all times. I had a great experience and recommend A-1 Self Storage without hesitation.

In the process of moving I needed to put some items in storage and began to check rates in the area so I wouldn't have to go far. I saw A-1 had a good rate and promotion for the size storage unit I was interested in and began to fill out the reservation form. Before it could completely submit I received a call from Anna. She confirmed all of the information I had entered on the form and told me she'd be there to assist with my needs. The staff is very helpful and the facility is new and clean. The location is convenient and safe and even has water views. The storage units are armed with alarm and you would need to arm/disarm, which is how you get in/out from the nice, secure gates. Hand trucks/carts are available for use for free (need to be checked out during office hours but can return after hours), and there are nice, big elevators that can fit 4 of those hand trucks. Used this place twice over the last 10 years, the first for over 5 years and the last for about 6 months. Well lit, clean location, with plenty of elevators & carts to make access & moving as easy as possible.

The checking was very easy and the 2 people who checked me in were delightful. They do what they need to to make the experience easy. The storage unit was very clean. The carts that are available make it easy to get things into the elevator and to the unit

I rented a unit here for three months for my belongings after I sold my house and before sending them overseas. The staff were always polite and helpful. The facility is clean and well run.
