They called 3x during the week to confirm. I spent 20+ mins on hold and was bounced around. Finally got an email confirmation. Come the day of the move- NO CALL as promised. When I called, I got " we tried to reach you" etc. NO CALL BACK after fighting to get this ove done. Now I am in a bind with my complex as I cannot be out on time!! Worse experience ever!!!

The lead man in charge of my move (Keith) was very unfriendly and also tried to overcharge on worked time. The crew was behind schedule and when i called for an update was told it's the way the "transportation industry works" he never called me with an update he said he left a message but somehow i never got it. I must say the crew that did the actual move was outstanding and the fact they were running behind was just poor planning by those involved above them. Do yourself a favor, just don't. Original move date was a Saturday. Last minute phone call to cancel our move until Sunday. Damaged our furniture. Took the longest route possible. The driver complained he was working on a Sunday. Charged us for a mattress cover and materials that we did not use, we had our own. Charged us more than was quoted. The list goes on and on!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO MOVE I never leave reviews, but this experience was so bad I feel I should warn others away from using this company. My wife and I use AMS to move out of our apartment in July. we did a brief phone quote listing our rooms and bulky items and we're quoted a base rate. They sent two guys with a truck. The moment the movers showed they complained they didn't have enough guys to move us and made remarks about how we better take care of them when it came time to tip. eventually we get these guys moving... read more

like more reviews here, this was a horrible experience. I had them scheduled for a Friday in which they were supposed to show up between 11 and 2:30. 3:30 comes around and I call to see when they'd be showing up, they just finished their other move and were heading our way. annoying but fine. they finally get to us around 5:30. they come in and do the normal walkthrough to see what furniture we had and then say they need to contact home base so they can get the hours started. they are downstairs for 20 minutes, come back up ... read more

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. If I could give zero stars, I would. Sh*tshow. Rip off. Eric and Alex, who work in the office have serious attitude problems in dire need of adjustment and are blatantly rude. They don't respond to calls with calls, instead they will drop your call, transfer you or reply rudely via email. This is the third time I have moved within 4 years. I have NOTHING good to say about this company. They misled me on packing materials (not included) and said it would take 2 - 3 hours MAX to load our Upack trailer. Its me (19) and my mom, so we couldn't do it all ourselves. They charged us from 9-1:30, yet arrived at 9:07, took 10 mins just to get the ramp up w/my help, and finished at 1:15. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!!! We got a quote for 1400 dollars for the move. Got charged 2500. Movers supposed to show up in the morning. Didn't show until 430pm. Our move wasn't done until 1am. AND then they charged us overtime. We had to unwrap and reassemble all furniture and return all the blankets to their headquarters because it was so late. Blankets that wrapped all our furniture smelled moldy and horrible. Movers were very unprofessional. They promised us they would lay down cardboard and never did. ... read more

Do NOT use this moving service. They rescheduled me twice and showed up late, not to mention they charged me twice and I cannot get someone on the phone for a resolution. HORRIBLE COMPANY, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
