STAY AWAY! This company was absolutely horrible and I regret trusting them. I needed to help my daughter move across town and we hired All My Sons. The only thing that went smooth was the estimate. There were disagreements about what their responsibilities were, they were late, and they damaged several valuable things. They broke a 65" flat screen tv, broke the leg off a bureau, two pieces of art were damaged and their frame/glass broken, and they tipped over a freezer denting it (laughing about it right in front of me). Do not use these movers. They under quote you and then run the clock and up charge for everything. Extremely careless and will scratch and break everything. The claims department is unresponsive and lies, they say the send the claim form but nothing ever comes. What a bad way to run a business. 0 white glove service. They packed my sons stuffed animals in a $20 wardrobe box and then charged me $72 for tape. It's a joke. Not good . They will take more money than what they tell you before booking.I had to pay lot extra.
I'm glad I went ahead and got a refund before I let these people in my home. The reviews are scary alone ; but what made my RED FLAG start waving was when I called the number I was given on a business card by their moving consultant and it was DISCONNECTED. I already deposited 5,000$. I called the second number on the card and it said , NUMBER IS NOT WORKING AT THIS TIME! I go on google , google the company number , and get some woman. ZERO STARS!! The absolute worst! They only sent two guys, instead of three, which was a mistake. They struggled moving the furniture, and at one point, tried to shove a large couch through a sliding glass door opening. One guy dropped an end on my brand new (new construction house) hardwood floor resulting in two long gouges in the hardwood! I would give a zero if I could. I had a move booked over a month in advance and was told I could leave all my clothes in dressers and they would be wrapped up. I was assured nothing would be a problem and there was no issue being on a second floor. When I received the confirmation call, I was told dressers had to be emptied. The movers called to say they were on their way, they showed on time, didn't say hello when greeted, looked around the house and left. Use another moving company. All my Sons in Stratford was the worst moving experience ever. They gave us a quote and then held our belongings hostage until we over paid the by $1,000. Amanda is the manager and is unprofessional and part of what appears to be a very dishonest operation. I would NEVER use this company in Stratford - stay away!
We had SO MANY issues with this moving company and the ENTIRE process. This move was stressful not only because it was cross country (from CT to MI) but because we were moving to be closer to my sister in college after the death of our mother. Beware. They quoted one price, and the final total was almost a thousand dollars more.!!! They had 2 experienced movers and 2 helpers. Well, their helpers severely damaged my hardwood floors; they stole my antique coins and other things. They also dropped 2 pieces of my furniture off the hand truck.
