0/10 do not recommend and stay clear of this company!! take your business elsewhere, they showed up at 3:00 pm for a whole house move on today Friday aug 30. they called the day before to go over all the items for the move but then when they arrived after waiting for them all day, they tried to say what was told for the inventory wasn't right and they started bringing boxes back in the house!! The guys didn't have tools after we told them things needed to be taking apart, so I offered my tools for them to use but since the... read more

Updating here after going round and round with people in the office. I was told several times that someone would get back to me and its been weeks with me having to constantly call the office. PS. last time I was on hold, I could hear all other conversations with customers - and one woman nearly stated her credit card number over the phone that I could overhear. WATCH OUT for this company, go elsewhere and thank me later.

My moving experience with All My Sons was terrible. I had hired them to help with packing and move from RI to CT. The estimate was odd from the beginning going from "one truck might be tight, you'll have a few boxes left over" to needed two trucks. On the first day they packed all of 3 boxes. The crew was not at all prepared to provide the service I had agreed to. The RI Operations manager (Mike) was incredibly rude and condescending. Feel like you need to be gaslit and possibly miss your move out date? Well this is the branch of the company for you! Friend confirmed move date and a list of items day before with office. Day of move, two guys show and refuse the work bc there is too much to move. They were told a table and couch. Friend calls office to get move rescheduled and they blame my friend for having too much to move and keeping it too close to their move out date. Office begins SCREAMING at friend. We had a nightmare experience with this move. The quote was way below what they eventually charged. First issue was them sending 4 men for the move when they'd said it'd be 5. Being a man down (one guy was also new) naturally caused the move to go longer, thus adding labor hours and upping the cost. They also made mistakes with the billing (charging 2,000 for gas some how) and ran out of room on the truck even though they said the move wouldn't need a second truck. Move- Bridgeport, CT. One star is being generous. * Showed up an hour and 45 minutes late from the confirmed start time. *Said the move would take 2 hours. Move took 7 and a half hours to complete the move and would have taken longer but we asked them to put everything in one room and leave. *Quoted low price- over charge at the end. All the reviews are right on. The moving crew was excellent. Absolutely the best!!!!! My final invoice came in over 500.00 more than the quote. When I got the quote I decided to move 25% of the items myself hoping to make sure it stayed within the quote. I must have made 30 trips back and forth with 2 cars. When I inquired how the final bill was over 500 ( 700 exactly ) more than the quote office hasn't answered. Reading the prior reviews I have a feeling they will be rude for asking such a question. Absolutely do NOT use this moving company, all of the post about the movers having attitude it is true. It got to the point where we said something to our movers about it and they took all of the stuff out of the truck and put it on the curb. Although they might have a low price I would rather have paid triple than having to deal with them. Truest me when I say this hire anyone else but them.
