0 STARS really FALSE "Estimate" of $350, which is actually their minimum. Never was told, until it was time to pay by an obnoxious manager. They hold your goods hostage, in the truck until you pay them. $120 Fuel Charge to drive 1/10th of a mile. The moving guys were like the 2 stooges. SLOW. One seemed like he never moved anyone before. They had no idea how to pack the truck or an elevator. I packed and unpacked a full moving truck faster than it took these 2 to pack and unpack 16 pieces of furniture below. How these guys are still in business is beyond me. Let me begin by saying that I hope anyone looking for a moving company reads these reviews and chooses wisely to stay away from All My Sons Moving & Storage. We moved from our two bedroom home in Lauderdale by The Sea to our townhouse in Parkland. I have moved 7 times in my lifetime and this last move (which was local) I used All My Sons Moving and have to be honest and say it was without a doubt thew WORST move I ever experienced, items that were supposed to be hung in wardrobe boxes were just thrown in the box, boxes were not marked which room they came from, packers seem to not even care, do yourself a favor and call someone else!!! If I could, I would give -500 starts. This review is overdue but I am still in shock and people should know better how they scammed for estimates and quote. All I had a desk, and a few pots and clothes. Distance was less than 4miles. That's it. I requested for a small truck and a mover since I have the minimal stuff to move. they charged over$500. $500!!!!!! Terrible. Even the movers didn't understand the amount I was being charged. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT book All My Sons for your moving needs. I booked movers from the Pompano Beach, FL location to assist me in what was supposed to be the easiest move I've done to date but was an absolutely terrible experience from beginning to end. I moved from a 1br to a 2br in the same apartment complex, just a building next door. The moving truck they brought was not even used as my new apartment was only 20ft from my previous one -- YET I was charged $73 for fuel costs. If I could give ZERO stars I would, this "company" is by far the worst scam of all time in the moving business. Unethical and morally some of those worse practices I have ever witnessed and unfortunately became a victim of this scam. I was quoted over the phone by "Dillion" at $490 for a move of my 2/2 apartment, seemed pretty reasonable. The problems began when I had a change in my move in day and time to the next day. I used All My Sons to move from GA to FL in 2018. That experience was awesome which prompted me to use them when I moved from Ft. Lauderdale to Pompano Beach. I would like to give this zero stars but that was not an option. The movers lost a lamp and a key fob to my apartment ($125 for key fob, $150 for lamp). The operations manager has no voicemail set up on his phone so you could not leave a message. Emails took days to get responded to. Terrible dishonest company. I engaged AMS in October for a move from one part of Evergreen to another. When Noelle of the Boulder office of AMS came to do the bid, I pointed out that our driveway was steep and they needed trucks with a short extension behind the rear axle to make it onto the driveway. Noelle even took a picture of the driveway. The move was eventually scheduled for January 28 with our closing on January 30. Due to snow the move had to be put back to the 29th. Nov 2019 - sofa fall from truck and was broken - a coffee table disappeared - china and crystal broken. boxes show miss-care. Do NOT use them.
