Don't use them! Hidden fees. They showed up hours late sent two guys that were very small. They took 30 minutes to load the first 4 boxes then started moving a little quicker when i told them we had to be finished by 5 because its a condo. They actually rolled furniture until it was upside down including file cabinets because they couldn't lift it on the dolly. We had damage to our leather sofas because they were scraping the concrete as they were pushing them on the dolly. When we got to our new home they couldn't get... read more
DO NOT USE!! I spoke with the 1800# to book AllMySons and they gave me a rate that did not include the $120 travel fee (they wanted to charge $120 to drive to my home and from my home!!). Rene at AllMySons called and verified the invoice with me and together we went over the bill and the total was $302, and I left a $100 deposit leaving the balance as $200+ (he verified that with me). Pathetic. Lied to me about a fuel charge. When I contacted the manager he made excuses and tried to accuse me of lying. Movers claimed they didn't put furniture together. Don't waste your time and money.
Terrible experience. Movers didn't show up. I called the morning of the move (after reserving elevator at new building) kept getting put on hold for ten minutes at a time. Then they started not answering the phone at all. I emailed them. They finally said they were sending two guys in a Penske truck, from Okeechobee, 30 minutes away, several hours late. THE WORST!!! Do not choose this company!!!! The one star is ONLY for the movers themselves because they were fast and efficient. Called a week in advance to get a quote to only have my larger furniture moved and spoke to Richard who quoted me $385. I specifically asked if there are any hidden fees after that. He said as long as it does not go beyond the 3 hour time frame then it will not cost more than that. He asked me a time frame and I chose the times between 8-10, he said "no problem". They showed up when they said they would. HOWEVER - essentially held our furniture hostage on the truck saying that additional money was needed to unload the furniture! Wanted to charge for an additional hour and a half including additional fuel cost of 18%. Note that the truck was parked at the storage facility. Negotiated a lesser fee and the crew unloaded in 40 minutes!! Overloaded a dolly and ruined a small piece of furniture. BUYER BEWARE!
My experience with All My Sons Moving & Storage of Fort Lauderdale (3762 Park Central Blvd, North Pompano Beach) WAS NOT A VERY GOOD ONE. I work in the customer service industry. I understand the importance of anticipating the customer's needs. Customer's don't know what they don't know, this is why they need an "expert" on the other end of the line to assist them. I filled out an on line form. Within 5 minutes a computer called me back. Reference # 6072163. A guy eventually got on the phone how he can help me , get me the best price, and needed me to answer a few questions. Yes I am moving from a 2 bedroom home. I asked do you know Wilton Manors? He said, no. I said where are you based out of HE HUNG UP ON ME. I CALLED BACK IT RANG. SOMEONE PICKED UP, NO WORDS HUNG UP ON CALL. AUGUST 4th ,approx. 6:30 p.m. HOW RUDE, YOU CALL THIS A BUSINESS? LOST MINE.
The company made me sign a liability form prior to unloading my furniture. My furniture was damaged during the unloading process. Management denied my claim saying I signed off on the delivery. Again.. They made me sign the form prior to unloading the truck. Plus charged over 1000 dollars for a 4 1/2 hours of work! The movers were on site from 9-1:30.
