If I could, I would give -500 starts. This review is overdue but I am still in shock and people should know better how they scammed for estimates and quote. All I had a desk, and a few pots and clothes. Distance was less than 4miles. That's it. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT book All My Sons for your moving needs. I booked movers from the Pompano Beach, FL location to assist me in what was supposed to be the easiest move I've done to date but was an absolutely terrible experience from beginning to end. I moved from a 1br to a 2br in the same apartment complex, just a building next door. The moving truck they brought was not even used as my new apartment was only 20ft from my previous one -- YET I was charged $73 for fuel costs. If I could give ZERO stars I would, this "company" is by far the worst scam of all time in the moving business. Unethical and morally some of those worse practices I have ever witnessed and unfortunately became a victim of this scam. I was quoted over the phone by "Dillion" at $490 for a move of my 2/2 apartment, seemed pretty reasonable. The problems began when I had a change in my move in day and time to the next day. I used All My Sons to move from GA to FL in 2018. That experience was awesome which prompted me to use them when I moved from Ft. Lauderdale to Pompano Beach. I would like to give this zero stars but that was not an option. The movers lost a lamp and a key fob to my apartment ($125 for key fob, $150 for lamp). The operations manager has no voicemail set up on his phone so you could not leave a message. Emails took days to get responded to. Terrible dishonest company. I engaged AMS in October for a move from one part of Evergreen to another. When Noelle of the Boulder office of AMS came to do the bid, I pointed out that our driveway was steep and they needed trucks with a short extension behind the rear axle to make it onto the driveway. Noelle even took a picture of the driveway. The move was eventually scheduled for January 28 with our closing on January 30. Due to snow the move had to be put back to the 29th. Nov 2019 - sofa fall from truck and was broken - a coffee table disappeared - china and crystal broken. boxes show miss-care. Do NOT use them.
Don't use them! Hidden fees. They showed up hours late sent two guys that were very small. They took 30 minutes to load the first 4 boxes then started moving a little quicker when i told them we had to be finished by 5 because its a condo. They actually rolled furniture until it was upside down including file cabinets because they couldn't lift it on the dolly. We had damage to our leather sofas because they were scraping the concrete as they were pushing them on the dolly. When we got to our new home they couldn't get... read more
DO NOT USE!! I spoke with the 1800# to book AllMySons and they gave me a rate that did not include the $120 travel fee (they wanted to charge $120 to drive to my home and from my home!!). Rene at AllMySons called and verified the invoice with me and together we went over the bill and the total was $302, and I left a $100 deposit leaving the balance as $200+ (he verified that with me). Pathetic. Lied to me about a fuel charge. When I contacted the manager he made excuses and tried to accuse me of lying. Movers claimed they didn't put furniture together. Don't waste your time and money.
