I really thought this moving company was the best decision for us. Prior to moving they were very attentive and on top of everything. I was told that it would be $149 per hour with a $149 flat rate of travel time. Imagine my shock when i see a bill with four digits on it when I was expecting maybe max $600 (extra charges that i was not aware of).The move took about 5/6 hours. Why? I would recommend AGAINST these guys. Their website said 1,000,000 happy customers. I'm not one of them. Although we DID get a flat rate (as opposed to an hourly rate that others complained of), we were told that all furniture would be wrapped to protect. We informed the person (salesman) who came to our house about some challenges with the move (oversized sofa with undersized openings), and he said not to worry, because his guys had "seen and done it all". I wish I would have read the reviews before I allowed my mom to hire them! Everyone was pleasant from the start, and they got our business. They tried to raise the original quote when we finally booked our day, but after my mom clearly told them she could not afford it and complained about them changing it last minute, the agreed to honor her original quoted price. This was expensive and not at all worth the money. I've used much cheaper movers and gotten the same or better. The difference is with the cheaper ones you expect it and you do more oversight. These movers act super professional in all the contact leading up to the move and then when they first show up then they just Harrell through. They ask you what to take and not take then just do whatever. They ask you where you want things then out them wherever they please...all the while acting all nice so you don't catch on. Very dissatisfied, lots of damages. They even tried to buy me off by offering $50.00 to not post bad review.
Scheduled an appointment for 10am for estimate. Missed his call at 9:10am. Called back at 9:20am and was told the appointment was for 9am and was canceled. I sent screen shot of 10am appointment and said I guess I try another company and the reply was "ok." Do not know if they are good movers but they do not seem to want or need my business.
They are the absolute worst! Dangerous! Broke my Italian furniture. Didn't put anything in a proper place. Never use!
Do not use this company at all costs! Shady, shady, shady business. They sent shady looking guys who showed up at a Publix nearby texting me that they couldn't find the address, but they started the clock when they parked at Publix. When I found them I had to make them leave the Deli they were having coffee at since they started the clock. This is the worst company you could ever use to move you, you better off using U-Haul and using the people they have to help you move so, you have come out better financially they charged me $119 To Go 1.2 MI they said me a bunch of BS about taking charge this much more if they wanted to but they only charge this amount I can drive from here to Michigan Battle Creek on $119 and come back a quarter of the way I was told that wasn't going to charge a whole lot for the distance because it was only 1.2 miles is this not being ch... read more
