Do not use this company. They are not trustworthy. Moved my daughter from one apartment in a complex to another a block away. They managed to absolutely destroy my daughters bedroom dresser and a craft table is missing. The company has a terrible insurance policy and when you sign up with them they do not stress that you should take out insurance which would have cost me more then the move itself. I have spent a lifetime moving to different states and countries, and this company is by far the worst I have ever used. Awful. So disappointed. I won't bore you with the ugly details, but DO NOT hire this company. The pictures below show the carelessness used by "their most professional 4-star movers"... that's what the salesman told me I would receive based on my zip code in a "high rent district". Absolutely do not recommend. I regret not reading the Yelp reviews in advance. I had been quoted $500 for my one bedroom move. I ended up being charged $1100 for the move, which was from my storage unit (where everything was prepacked and wrapped) to my one bedroom apartment. When I looked at the bill it showed over $150 in gas charges, in addition to the mandatory one hour $150 they charge for driving and other fees. I used Angies List. I told them the move was heavy furniture within my house and the last vendor told me their minimum (over $300) so I asked upfront for their minimum to not waste their time . I did not get a minimum after I asked, just that they have a minimum and also charge for gas. So I was honest and stated I was not wanting to spend over $100 (again moving heavy cabinets in my house from one location to another). They said go to Home Depot (click). Do your research before booking your move with this company. I made the mistake of letting them take a $100 "fully-refundable" deposit that I still haven't gotten back a week later. They don't answer the phone if I call from my cell phone so I have to use an anonymous number to get in touch with them and I'm *still* waiting for them to reverse the transaction. HORRIBLE. STAY AWAY. Hourly rate charged, guys stand around idle a lot to let time purposely pass by. MOVE VERY SLOWLY. They do not have a system. Also HIDDEN FEES NOT DISCLOSED. RUDE office staff amd MANAGER. Once they get your money, they do NOT CARE. Stay AWAY. Way better moving companies out there. ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Let me help you do yourself a favor. Thank me later
Not worth my fingers but I'll just say whatever you expect to pay? Double it. Have them forget screws to your bed. 1000 sqft apartment moving 20 minutes away cost $1500. Absurd. Avoid.
They charged 3x their original quote! Our new, big screen TV was destroyed by these movers! That was the only delicate item that required special packing and handling! And they couldn't handle it. I filed a claim with the company as it was stated in the contract that they were insured and was offered $150! Not the $1,000 the tv would cost to replace! DO NOT HIRE THESE INCOMPETENT LIARS AND THIEVES. Pursuing legal action. No stars...had to select a star before this review could be posted!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOU WILL REGRET IT IF YOU DO!! I will give my honest review about all my sons moving company...first I was charged $15 for a mattress package and didn't have a mattress because it had not been delivered yet. They broke my floor lamp, scuffed up and scratched my leather love seat by forcing it through the doors that needed them to turn it in a certain direction so it would fit better, they ruined the front of my tv entertainment cabinet, they scratched nearly everything made of wood...I don't understan... read more
