Terrible!!!! Do not use… All My Sons took our deposit and then no showed on the day of the move. We booked and paid the $500 deposit 2 months in advance. We confirmed multiple times that they would have a team to move us on a Sunday. They didn’t offer us our deposit back. No one reached out to apologize. We follow up with All My Sons and they are claiming they never guaranteed our move. I have multiple written communications where they did and proof of our $500 deposit. We were left to piece together a move on our own
Stay Away And Be Aware! We booked All My Sons over 2 months before our move and paid a $500 deposit. We were moving on a Sunday and needed the crew to come first thing in the morning. We asked multiple times and multiple people if they would have a crew. They all said "Yes, absolutely! We work all days of the week". This company damaged one of the items we had them move, a BRAND NEW MINT CONDITION 1600 dollar desk. They offered me 160 bucks for the damage. And they ran over a sewer cleanout better than 20 feet away from the driveway, causing damage. They refuse to make this right. Go anywhere else.
We used them to store my sons furniture when he went to basic training, 6 months later he graduated from Officer Candidate School. My son calls to arrange the move. They arrived and the contract didn’t have his correct name. He needed a correct contract to get reimbursed by the Army. So, after they travel from NC to GA, the can’t/won’t unload his goods because he cant sign a contract that is wrong. They leave and finally come back the next morning at 10 AM. My husband and I put a deposit down to reserve a moving date this past weekend from Raleigh to Wendell, and at 3pm THAT VERY DAY, we were told by the movers that their morning customers “weren’t letting them leave and they would not be able to move us….” This is not a hostage situation; if you have booked another job, you need to honor that. I unfortunately had a very negative experience with All My Sons. They came highly recommended so I was excited to use them when my husband and I were moving. When I scheduled our moving date we told them that we preferred a morning start time and it was decided that they would be arriving between 830a-930a. Good luck getting an honest ANYTHING out of these yahoos. Unless you want honest broken stuff, scrapes and holes in walls.
We had two groups move us. The first group packed us up and moved us to a storage facility. They packed TERRIBLY TERRIBLY TERRIBLY. They even PACKED TRASH. One bag had MAGGOTS when moving in our new house!!!!!!!!!! Half the stuff was packed decently, while the other half was thrown together and a lot of stuff got BROKEN. The second group moved us from storage to the house. They saw it upon themselves to move and cause damage to a parked and locked trailer at the storage facility. THEY CANCELED OUR SERVICE ON MOVING DAY… 20min before their ETA. They called to tell me that a lot of guys called out sick today and were, apparently, “out late last night” according to the rep I was speaking with. We hired a cleaning company to come today to clean because we have to be out of this house by tomorrow and now this puts us in a huge bind.
