This particular location is awful, do not go by Google reviews. They refused to wear masks while moving my elderly mother, they broke multiple decor items and badly damaged furniture. They dropped a few things off at Goodwill for us but donated things that weren't supposed to be donated. They knocked a garage shelf at the new home out of the drywall and didn't even say anything. Would NOT recommend!!! Movers did NOT show up. RUDE staff. NO communication. We booked movers weeks in advance for our first home. I requested morning time. I was told by Wendell that the staff would call me two days before to confirm the time. Two days before, I had to call the office and confirm my move. Staff gave me a time frame of 4 hours 1-5pm with only a 45 minute warning. This was not told to me weeks prior. The damage count of items, dishes and furniture continues to climb as we unpack after what was quite possibly the worst moving nightmare we’ve experienced after 2 long distance moves with Two Men and a Truck that were amazing. All My Sons showed up late constantly, when we tried to address movers breaking our stuff during load we were cussed out, I tried to talk to management about this and was ignored. I had the worst experience moving with this company. Literally worse then that time in college where I paid frat guys in beer to move me. This company took my deposit, confirmed with me Wednesday and Saturday the day of my scheduled move no showed. I found out they were not coming after their pick up window ended and I had to call them to check their arrival status. All My Sons movers are the worst! My daughter scheduled a move with them several weeks ago for today as she is moving to Raleigh. We were given a time frame of 12-5 pm today and called around 1 pm and they said they’d let us know when they are coming. No word - so we called at 4 pm again. They said their other jobs were taking too long and they wouldn’t be able to get to us until TUESDAY. I would NEVER recommend them! They PURPOSELY broke my bed frame (headboard & footboard) on their truck. They did not unpack my items. Once I told them I was going to cut the package and see if it was broke - the driver (there were 3 of them) asked for a tip and left BEFORE I cut it opened. Once I opened it, seen it was damaged, I called the guy to the point he BLOCKED me! The office kept me on hold and transferred me. Placed deposit called twice in advance just for no one to show up & my move to not be completed. Idk if these guys schedules are different or what but there should be coordination & communication & it seems like they don’t do any of that. One movers answers tells us we’re on the schedule to be moved & will give an hour notice. 3 hours after another individual is telling us they have no record of our move but were willing to return deposit with no apology. So unprofessional
I called for an estimate and tried to have them send me and email with that estimate but they did not. I still book them and after I put $100 down I finally received an estimate for $50 more an hour. I called back and they were very rude and hung up on me after I asked for my deposit back. before he hung up he said that he would refund me but waiting to see
I hired All My Sons Moving & Storage to do a local move on December 18th. I booked with them two weeks in advance. The office staff was great! Everyone was very attentive, polite, and nice. The day of the move came and I was scheduled for “afternoon.” Around 1:30 when I hadn’t heard from anyone I called the office.
