Where to start with this awful service. First when I called to schedule the move I was quoted one price but when I tried to schedule for the next day that price was raised by $10 an hour, they did reduce it by $5 but still. There was $100 deposit which I was told was to cover the drive time to and from the job which I was OK with and understood, but does it really take an hour to drive to and from a job? I wish I would have done more research before hiring this company. First off, I was told that I would be dealing with one person during the whole moving process (other than the movers themselves) and ended up speaking to a different person every single time. I was quoted one price when I had called the day before I booked and the day before the move they raised the price by $5/hr and also stated they had a 12% gas fee that was never quoted to me before. I used them last year for an across town move. Literally, the worst moving experience I have ever had. I agree with Arica that if you could leave a zero review I would! Go and look at their Kingston Pike location. That will give you the picture of what your moving experience will be like. I was overcharged. They held my furniture "hostage" when we disputed their price because of a VERY long lunch break and travel time. Totally dishonest. I had several items damaged. Just a nightmare experience.

My experience with All My Sons Moving was a disaster. They had a poor attitude and they were careless. They came unprepared to do the tasks I asked to do. From the beginning I asked that the crew come prepare to pack up a kitchen, and they showed up without proper materials. They complained about being there. I hired a 2-person crew and they forced a 3-person crew on me. They refused to properly disassemble furniture to move it safely and did not properly pad furniture, doors, or walls to prevent damage. They lied to me about the cost to move. I only had one room of furniture. It took them nearly two hours to move this furniture. They quoted me an estimate of $300 but the final bill was over $700. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Phyllis B.

They charged me $763 to move one (1) room of furniture 18 miles. I reserved a week in advance and requested a morning pickup. They said that would be fine and that they would call the day before the move to tell me the exact time. They did not call. I called them. They could not give me the pickup time. They said they would call me back . They did not call me back. I called them again. They said it would be an afternoon pickup. How do companies like this one stay in business? Answer: Because of idiots like me. By the time you realize you have been swindled and lied to, there is not a thing you can do about it. They talk such a sweet game up until moving day. My sales rep Kevin talked about the AMS family, trust, how different AMS is from other movers, etc. The local 'owner' Ron called me personally which I thought was a nice touch. Then came moving day. This was the worst experience I have ever had. I have moved several times over the last 4 years and have never been so taken advantage of or treated so poorly. What should have been a 2 or 3 hour move took their guys almost 5. There were 3 of them that showed up, but only 2 of them lifted and actually moved my things. They took SO many breaks to check their phones and smoke - it was ridiculous. They moved insanely slow so my dad and I started to move my stuff out on our own (since they charge by the hour). The move was reasonable in itself but the pricing was very complex and a detailed accounting/invoice was not forth coming plus damage to my yard was not made right. My primary concern is not being provided the information by All My Sons to verify the final billing.
