So many things went wrong that I felt the need to write a review so people think twice about hiring this company. #1 - Didn't put clothes in wardrobes cause they forgot them. So they packed clothes in boxes and put them in their storage unit for approximately 1 month till my apartment was ready to move into. RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, and INTENTIONALLY DESTROYED MY DRIVEWAY!!!! We just had new neighbors move in today and they used All My Sons Moving company. When I came home they had the moving van COMPLETELY BLOCKING THE ROAD, so no one could come or go. My neighbor tried to talk to them to get them to move, and they were instantly belligerent and told her they had a license to be there. I had to park my car up the street. I was quoted a 2 hour min charge of $94 per hour and this covered 2 laborers. Also was told there was the drive time expense and 12% charge for fuel. Also was told the clock doesn't start until they arrive at my house to pick up. They arrived at 10am and clocked in. Then one of the movers asked to use my bathroom, then went to the truck to change into his moving attire. Basically, started at 1010am and were done loading at 1050am. I have moved many times in my adult life, working with many movers. Hiring All My Sons Moving in Knoxville was by far the most absolutely horrible moving experience I've had in nearly 30 years of moves. The owner, Ron, tried to overcharge us on the amount of time for our move (by over an hour) and wanted payment for that heavily padded amount before the crew would unload our belongings at the new residence. Absolute slowest movers I have ever seen. Move was quoted at 4-5 hours and a cost of $600-750. When we contacted the owner 2 hours into the move - he said "oh no my guy onsite says it will be a 4 hour load so should be done in 7 hours". Move actually took almost 11 hours and a cost of $1500 AND they didn't even move all of our stuff. My daughter hired all my sons to move February of 2017, it was mostly boxes, a few dressers, etc. no beds, couches, chairs, no appliances. She was quoted one price, which was high, but she hired them anyway. After they loaded the things she was moving, and had them at the location she was moving too, they added more charges in the amount of $250.00 dollars more, and held her things hostage on the truck, they would not unload them. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had.. I've moved many times. Mostly myself. These two buffoons showed up with a massive truck then proceeded to leave over entire rooms full of boxes that I had to pay my NEIGHBOR to move with me. What is the point of a bloody moving company that leaves your crap? So, watching them sit on their telephones and play around in the truck cab while on the clock, I sat wondering what they were even doing. ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE First, the movers show up and say they have no idea how they are going to manage this move. I could understand that comment if I lived in a mansion on top of the Smokey Mountains, but I was moving from a 2 bedroom apartment to a 1 bedroom apartment within the same Apartment Complex (literally less than 100 feet away). TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO OR BETTER MINUS. NEVER HIRE ALL MY SONS MOVING. THEY ARE LIARS. CHARGE MORE THEN THE ESTIMATE. DONT FOLLOW THE PROMISES AND DONT FULFILL THE COMMITMENTS All my sons are scammers who do not fulfill their commitment, unreliable, rip off and very non professional.
