Thanks for leaving us high and dry! I called ahead for a morning move (which I told would be feasible) the day before the moved they moved me back to a noon move. At 11 am I called and they said they would call me in an hour. I called again after noon and they said my move would be postponed again. They said it would probably be around 5 pm. After taking our deposit and scheduling move way in advance, they cancelled us within 2 hours of when they were scheduled to pack and load our house (we were told they would not reschedule)! They said their truck was in an accident, but they didn't offer us the help to pack our stuff and did not make any attempt to rent a replacement truck to fulfill their obligation per our contract! Worst company and communication as well as never completed the job hired for. Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND!
It’s looking like the closing on our home is going to happen. I had heard good things about this company. But the way your employee uses the word retard as an insult and the C work towards women on Facebook tells me I don’t want to run into someone like that on my move. Just terrible. He should try and do better especially if he is a vet as he claims.
I live in Portland Oregon and last Friday (9/6) AMS was supposed to come move us from one house to another about 3 miles away. They never showed up. I contacted them 3 times that day and they lied to me twice. I was told earlier that week that the crew would do their first scheduled moves then they would come to me maybe around 10:30 but certainly no later than 2PM. I wish I would have read the feedback first I never would have used them! Horrible service, they over promised and under delivered. I am 3 days until my move or else I wouldnt be giving them my money or business. I have 2 moves, one for my mother in law and one for ourselves . I spoke with Eric who told me different prices, times and quotes. I then didnt get a call to verify everything so I had to call them. This was my first time going through a moving company & it was pretty terrible. I HAD expensive mirrored bedroom furniture & a couple of the pieces got broken from mishandling during move. One of the workers also goon my phone number off the paperwork & proceeded to text & call me trying to go on a date omg! He was so creepy to begin with & to think he had helped me move so he knew where I now lived it was just a terrible experience that ruined several hundred dollars in furniture & felt unsafe afterward.
