These guys stole about $5,000 worth of stuff from my belongings. I didn't discover the theft until I unpacked. When I called their office to report the theft, they completely blew me off. They hire crooks. Beware!

This was, by far, the worst moving experience I've ever had. I signed up for moving services over a month before my moving date, including putting down a deposit. I was quoted 4 hours for a move plus a "small charge" for fuel. I was moving 4 blocks away. After signing up for moving services, All My Sons proceeded to call me at least once if not twice or three times a day to ask me when I would be interested in signing up for moving services. Was moved by this company earlier today. The most noteworthy parts were the hidden charges not discussed on the initial quote call, such as packing supplies charged whether used or not (not) and fuel charged made my bill about $75 more than I expected. As a person on a budget (aren't we all) cost matters! My two movers couldn't have been nicer, but maybe a little slow. The day was sort of a series of unfortunate events... Absolutely awful customer service. I called and asked the representative for a quote to move 3 pieces of furniture out of my home. They explained there was a $99 fee for driving time (to and from their warehouse) a 10% portal/fueling fee and it was $99 an hour. I put down a $250 deposit and they transferred me to the local location that would be moving me to confirm and she explained that there was a 2 hour minimum labor charge. My daughter requested a quote to move her from a one bedroom apartment. The quote was $350-$450. That quote was to include the truck rental and three hours of labor, so she booked them. (There was no mention of a $50 materials fee.) The two movers were FABULOUS! The trouble began when they presented my daughter with a bill over $600! The guy that I spoke to for the quote spoke up the service. As I was calling around, I decided to go with him because he was the most personable. He did say that it would be three movers, but when I called to confirm, they told me for my size move, it would be two movers. I was quoted at a 2-hour move for a little over 300 (because it is 1 hour for transportation and 10% fuel charge). The only reason I selected 1 star is because minus 1 star was not available. This was absolutely the worst moving company I have ever delt with. Damien is rude and nasty. Greg, "the estimator" will arrive at your door with smiles and charm while hiding his "stick em up plan" to take you for double that reasonable estimate. Greg is untruthful and is all sales and no service and watch your wallet and your furniture both will be damaged. Please do not trust this company with your belongings or your money. Short version? Service and effort by the movers, great. Prices and hidden fees? Terrible. Loading went much quicker than unloading, movers held furniture hostage on truck at new place until full payment was made, $50 for "materials", $80 for "trip charges and gas". A semi truck wouldn't have used $80 worth of gas for a 18 mile trip. They did set up our beds, as was promised by the company CSR. So anything over 3 hours is "overtime", look out for that one. I am extremely upset with this company, I would not recommend them to anyone that is looking at using a moving company! I was in a one bedroom upstairs that needs to be moved to a two bedroom upstairs literally right around the corner in the same community. Everything in my apartment was already packed just needed to be loaded and moved to the other apartment.
