"I recently had to make a claim for a Samsung galaxy gear watch I had. I really enjoyed using the watch but just out of Warranty one of the charging pins started having corrosion on the watch. Now this would probably be a warranty claim but since it happened outside the warranty period, Samsung would not take care of it. Thank goodness I had purchased squaretrade on it and they refunded my purchase so now I can buy a new watch since I got so used to wearing one. "Although I've been a little apprehensive about purchasing used electronics I purchased a Samsung Nexus phone from an Ebay seller earlier this year. I was delighted to see that as an option, I was able to purchase a warranty from Square Trade. The phone was in great condition however after several months of use it stopped working. I contacted Square Trade and filed a claim. My original purchase price was refunded in two days. The process was simple. The service is great!
