The first iron died past the manufacture warranty and I was forced to shell out about $250 to replace it. This time I had a warranty that went beyond the manufacturers and was able to replace my iron within about a week. My second one died in about 2 years. Thanks to Square Trade I was able to replace it agin with little cost out of pocket. I purchased another warranty on the new one."
