So simple...you file your claim, they investigate possibility of repair. In my case, it was not feasible to repair, so they refunded what I originally paid for this microwave almost 3 years ago.
Technician had me disconnect source, unplug tv push and hold on button on side of tv for about I minute. Stopped the problem
I purchased a Fitbit from eBay which voids the Fitbit warranty because eBay is not a authorized reseller for Fitbit products. I purchased a Square Trade Policy when I bought the watch so when the watch started shutting down when it was 6 months old and when worn in the hot sun I turned to Square Trade to repair or replace the watch. My watch band broke and since I had bought a 3 year coverage 2 years earlier, I filed a claim. After a week I got a response that they did not have a policy on my watch. I sent them the number then they replied that they needed a copy. I sent a copy of both the receipt for the purchase and the policy. They kept stalling ans said they could not read it so I sent it again. Then they said I had to upload it on their site that it wasn't enough to send it as an e-mail attachment. Called and filled out online information to file claim. Was reimbursed in 3 days
I was given a FitBit as a gift in Jan/2019 along with 2 years of Insurance through SquareTrade. In August/2019 face of FitBit was chipped and cracked and I submitted a claim online to Square Trade on August 15/2019. Claim was given a Claim number within half an hour. Shortly I was asked to pay a deductible of $25 which they acknowledged receiving along with a reference number. One min. later the claim was approved.
