Bought a protection plan on a bicycle. Was not given options to purchase different type of plans. Granddaughter fell on bike causing some damage. When attempting to file a claim got such a confusing response from agent. Was told damage was covered then told it wasn't covered. Agent wasn't knowledgeable of plans. Kept repeating same information without providing any real clarification. Very unsatisfied with experience. Will probably rethink purchasing a blind policy again.

Bought this extended warranty plan through a local mom and pop shop. They are back logged with service calls and farmed my needs out to me to call Allstate directly to coordinate a service call. That took an hour on the phone to get scheduled. Then, the company doing that service didn’t communicate, showed up late, and then didn’t fix my dishwasher that won’t run. Square Trade insurance coverage evidently was purchased by seller. The "covered" product was a refurbished unit that did not experience any damaging use by me. As indicated by pictures sent from Square Trade the unit appears to have incurred damage during shipping. I admit I did not take pictures of the unit as sent. Square Trade stated initial inspection showed "water damage," the source of which is unknown as the unit was not subjected to any liquids of any kind. It was horrible. Off shore tech and service makes for impotent responses regarding TV warranty issues. Your system is a problem and speaking to someone in Pakistan is also!

Had a 70" TV that had white lines down the side and covered the picture. Luckily, I had purchased the Protection Plan for 4 years from Walmart at the time of my purchase. Two years later, TV messed up with the lines on the screen. I reported it to Allstate (SquareTrade) and sent pictures, etc and they sent me a replacement TV. Unfortuneately, the replacement TV was NOT the same brand, but okay. You person on the other end did nothing to help me, kept asking questions that where ready available on file, this person needs much more training on how to interact with a customer.

They outright refused service before and then when I finally got them to let me send in my item for repair they returned it in a worse condition and wanted me to send it back again for another "repair". Meanwhile I'm paying for gas, packaging etc on top of the cost of the plan which they barely even let me use. Again I PAID FOR THE SERVICE AND THEY REFUSED TO LET ME USE IT.
