I spoke with 3 different Walmart employees and they didn't know how to answer any of my questions regarding my warranty.
I filled out the form telling them what was wrong. I had to ship the vacuum to them at my expense, which was alright. There were no instructions stating to just send the broken item and not the attachments so I of course sent the hose with it. They repaired it fast enough and returned it to me without the hose. I asked them where my hose was and they said i should not have send it. I stated it did not state that on the return form. They supposedly looked for it and could not find it. I purchased a metal platform bed, it broke, was sharp and metal, I threw it out, claims said I needed pics, I didnt think about that when I tossed it, spoke to an agent, they said they would check it out, they ruled that I could have a replacement! This will encourage me to ALWAYS go with Allstate when it is available!
Long story short - I sent my phone in for an overnight repair. Days later they said they only ordered a part. A week later they didn't know where my phone was. Then they said the repair center said my phone was irreparable. They said they'd send me a replacement phone. Another week later waiting for my phone I called and had enough of the run around excuses and said I wanted a payout. Which after another 2 days it was approved. I've had a few protection plans with Allstate, and prior before Allstate bought SquareTrade. Anytime I've needed to make a claim, I had to jump through a ton of hoops, explain my situation multiple times, tell them to review notes from prior calls, and spend an unreasonable amount of time, energy, and effort to get a claim handled. When I finally do reach someone who knows what they're doing and can handle the issue, it goes smoothly, but it does not seem like they set their agents up for success. I had to pay 30in packing materials to ship back a stereo that couldn't be repaired and still haven't received my money to purchase a new 1
Felt as if I was brushed off onto the actual company to fix my problem rather than the actual place that I purchased the device from. Here I am, 3 weeks later with no help, still.
