I called in and it took almost 30 minutes to get to the correct prompt from the phone answering. I had to call back at least 5 times. Finally, when I had access to a person, he gave instructions for the worng system. I then got an email to call back, using the aame wacky phone tree prompt system. The person on the other end then told me that me receipt could not be found. I sent it in, and get an email telling me that I would hear back if Square Trade could help. That email never arrived.

I called 4 times that day, and chatted online with someone too. I tried to explain to each person that I needed to get to the page on their website where I could submit my receipt, but it kept taking me to the page with the phone number on it. The last person I spoke with put me on hold twice and came back both times to tell me it was covered by the manufacturer's warranty. My Square Trade warranted television would power off for no explainable reason. After being transferred from Square Trade representative to representative to representative, and explaining the problem over and over and over again, after several hours I spoke with a Square Trade rep that stated that the TV's power supply needed to be replaced and sent me the name of the repair facility that would do the work. Emailed and told approved immediately. Told my check would be mailed upon receipt of phone. Awaiting check. So far, so good.

When my appliance failed to work, I contacted SquareTrade to report the failure. After a short interview, the representative determined that I should get a refund. My check arrived in the mail after a few days. I gained confidence in SquareTrad and I will purchase extended warranty in the future.

I recently got a headset and I broke it and needed a replacement I bought the headset brand new for 60$ when I asked for the refund the only gave me enough money for a refurbished one

I thought to save some money and use squaretrade. Big mistake, the point of buying insurance is it is there when you need it. They make it so difficult to file a claim to try to dissuade you from doing it. They keep asking for more details, etc. I am done with them. I will just continue to go through this nightmare just to make them pay what they owe me, but will cancel the service right afterwards. Be warned, you get what you pay for.
