If you purchase something of value use square trade warranty you will not be disappointed. I had to use my warranty after 15 months on LED lights. I filed 2 claims in one day on there web site. I had no problems within hours I had confirmation of receipt and settlement. The checks arrived in 3 days. I will only use Square trade in the future for warranty service.
When I purchased the plan, I was not made aware of all the steps involved in filling a claim. Offshore customer care is incompetent and rude. I had to send my phone off to 2 separate repair facilities for them to finally tell me it was defective and replace it. The saga lasted three weeks.
I lost money by getting square trade - how is that square?
My issue is still unresolved because RCA keeps playing games. Thus far, they are supposed to be calling me but because RCA refuses to leave a name, phone number, and extension, I can't call them. They still refuse to believe that my warranty is for 2 years and they wish to discuss it. It is what it is! What the hell is there to discuss?
Your services are frustrating and very poor, was on a call for 8 hours and the issues still don’t have solution, your staff knows your policy in parts and are confused about, one tells what to do the next minute another tells something else, your service is crazy. I still need my refund

iPhone had an issue on Thursday and missed cutoff for overnight delivery time. They approved a repair at Apple store. Apple fixed the issue and I paid the bill to Apple. Submitted receipt to squaretrade and check was paid out ASAP. It’s my first claim but awesome to know it works well as I have 4 squaretrade policies on various items.
Consistently given the runaround from the initial attempt at warranty redemption to processing of warranty itself. 0/10, would not buy again.
I called to put a claim on the ear buds I had insured. They sent me back to eBay and also told to contact manufacturer, I can’t afford to call China as that is where the manufacturer is. All I wish is if I could get a refund on SquareTrade! Doesn’t seem worth having this “insurance “
