I had a Fitbit Charge 2 that suddenly stopped working just after the one-year warranty expired. I contacted SquareTrade since I had purchased a 2-year warranty from them and they responded very quickly. I had my *new* Charge 2 within 10 days. I paid $40 for the additional warranty and my deductible was $15. It's definitely worth the money since $55 is way less than the $150-180 for a new one. Electronic item was defective, Square Trade honored the warranty and sent a full refund. I've used this company for over 15 years and they are the original reliable warranty service.
Sent them the info on our warranty, they sent a new TV.
I pay a monthly fee AND paid the $129 deductible. This was actually more than the fix it company requires of $109 to fix a cracked screen. I’d already paid the deductible or I wouldn’t have even used the insurance. That’s terrible customer service to charge more than it actually costs. Insurance is supposed to save you money. I feel this is completely dishonest.

Never even thought I would ever have the need to fix or replace a product after only a couple years. However, when something actually does go wrong, it’s very comforting to know you’re covered by SquareTrade!
SQUARE TRADE is a farce, they ran me around for a whole day finding a receipt for my product they covered. Then they denied coverage. Then sent me an email and said they would cover it, sent a phone number and when I called, they denied coverage AGAIN. only WASTED my time. I will NEVER buy a warranty through them.

I bought a bike with Toys R Us and after a few months the training wheels surged to bend upwards making it unsafe to drive. Also, the bike tire showed a lot of ware. I submitted the claim and they rejected it and referred me to the manufacrurer, who happens a to be in China and has no physical prescience in the USA.

The first 4 phone calls I made took 2 hrs. and they kept giving me info I couldn't use with just a cell phone to connect to the net. The last phone call I connected to a technician who took me through the whole process and got my computer working again. He was excellent but my initial experience with the first four people was not helpful and very frustrating.

I have made a Square Trade claim before and always received good results. This time was different. It started out great: We went on line and initiated a claim and received information to call and give additional details. When I called they had all the information ready from the online claim initiation and determined from a few questions that they would send some parts in a few days and then we'd receive an email with information on how to contact a service provider that would use the parts to complete the repair.
